“How the process begins”
First, the customer, you, calls the office 503.253.5798 / 360.723.0908 and speaks to one of our Move Coordinators, Dottie or Stacey, trained to listen, advise, and schedule. This is when the initial assessment begins; “What does this customer need? And, can we deliver that service?” Questions are asked and answered.
Secondly, an estimate is scheduled and or the job is booked. If an estimate is scheduled, an estimator will arrive, again assess the needs of the customer, and give a written estimate of the work to be preformed.

“How the day will look, Pack day”
Thunder Movers’ arrive in uniform, easily identifiable as the safe, professional team you’ve hired. Upon arrival, either for a pack, load, or a move we first evaluate your needs. Our Thunder Movers Team is trained to listen to the customer. “What is it you would like us to do today?” They do an initial walk through — hearing the wants, goals, and concerns of the client. (They also know how the day should go.) They then respond accordingly.
Before anything is touched, the team puts floor protection down; or carpet mask (if needed); and can remove or cover shoes. We are careful of home, community, and belongings.
We offer packing: we come prepared to your home, condo, apartment, office, or other location. We have available to bring: boxes, paper, tape, packing peanuts, shrink wrap, bubble wrap, marking pens, specialty crates, mattress bags, sealed bags, foam for plasma televisions, carpet and floor protection.
We professionally pack the items you request. Label boxes so that you can easily find things, and the movers can place things in the appropriate rooms.
We offer FREE use of wardrobe boxes on local moves. Wardrobe boxes are approximately 10 cubic feet, and have a hanging metal rod to hang clothing.
We properly wrap china, and other dishware, stemware, stoneware — all kitchen items. All items within a household have a particular way it should be packed. We efficiently pack all items safely and appropriately.
We separate food items from cleaning products, shoes from lingerie, hammers from plates! It sounds like a joke but packing is not instinctive. Do not assume everyone knows how to “professionally” pack a home, or office. The Thunder Movers Team that arrivals do know how to professionally pack, just about anything!
